Shipping
Where do you ship?
We ship anywhere on the east coast of the United States via UPS Ground.
We can't ship to PO boxes because UPS needs a street address.
How much does shipping cost?
One flat rate: $15 per order, anywhere we ship. That covers the insulated packaging, the cold packs, and getting your dips to your door fresh and delicious.
How do the dips stay cold in transit?
Every order ships in an insulated container with cold packs, packed the same day it leaves our kitchen. That's exactly what the $15 covers—real refrigerated packaging.
When will my order ship?
Because our dips are perishable, we ship on Mondays and Tuesdays only so your box never sits in a warehouse over the weekend. Orders placed on Tuesday may ship the following Monday. Orders placed Wednesday through Sunday ship the following Monday.
You'll get an email with tracking as soon as your order leaves Pawleys Island.
How long does delivery take?
UPS Ground usually takes 1–4 business days, depending on how far you are from Pawleys Island, SC. Closer states such as South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia are typically 1–2 days.
Is there a minimum order?
Yes—online orders have a four-dip minimum ($36). The Holiday Cheeseball counts toward the minimum.
Is the online store open year-round?
No—and that's on purpose. We live in a very hot place, and we won't risk your dips melting in a summer delivery truck. Our online store is open October through March.
From April through September, come see us in person at local farmers markets around Pawleys Island. We love meeting our customers face to face.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long do the dips last?
Keep them refrigerated. Unopened, they're good for 30 days from the pack date printed on the tub. Once opened, enjoy within 30 days. They can also be frozen.
Are your dips gluten free?
Yes. All three flavors—Mild Colby Jack, Pepper Jack & Jalapeño, and Chipotle Cheddar—are gluten free.
What are the ingredients? Any allergens?
Contains: milk. Cheese is included in every flavor, along with pinto beans, sour cream, jalapeño peppers, and chipotle peppers. Full ingredients are listed on the containers.
All of our dips are made in a South Carolina Department of Agriculture-approved commercial kitchen in Georgetown, SC.
What sizes do you sell?
Our dips come in 12 oz tubs for $9 each. Our Holiday Cheeseball ($15) is available seasonally while the online store is open.
Can I send dips as a gift?
Absolutely. Enter the recipient's address at checkout. We never include pricing in the box, so it'll arrive looking like the thoughtful gift it is.
What if my order arrives warm or damaged?
We pack every box to arrive cold and fresh, but if something goes wrong, email us at Carolinabeandip@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the issue. You may choose a replacement or a refund.
Do you offer local pickup?
Not at this time—but if you're local, come see us. During market season (April–September), you'll find us at farmers markets around Pawleys Island. Check our Locations page for where we'll be.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards, plus Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Klarna, and Link, all through our secure checkout. You don't need to create an account to order.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Email us right away at Carolinabeandip@gmail.com and we'll do our best. Once your box has shipped, we can't reroute it—but see our damaged-order policy above if anything arrives less than perfect.
